When writing an article summary i have to say if i agree with, disagree with, or qualify the main points,
what does qualifying the main points mean?

  3. In a way, yes ... by describing exactly why ... explaining/describing what it is about each of the main points that makes you agree or disagree.

    And I imagine that you need to write an all-agreeing or an all-disagreeing response. No "fence-sitting"!!

  4. with one of the topics i fully agree,but with a completely different topic i cant agree with because i feel that the journalist was too vague when he wrote it.

  8. I would ask questions, very pointed questions that point out what the author DIDN'T write. Those omitted details and/or facts are what make it all vague.

    Ask lots of questions!!
