    (1) solve for x in terms of y. x = f(y)
    (2) switch variables x and y.
    y = (x-3)/(x+2)
    xy + 2y = x - 3
    x(y-1) = -3 -2y
    x = (2y+3)/(1-y)
    The inverse function is
    f^-1 (x) = (2x+3)/(1-x)
