I need some help with this math problem.

Multiply 31/6 * 9/11 * 6/17. Writre your answer to simplest form.

Answer: 171/187 is this correct? Please help

    -----------
    6 * 11 * 17

    Now 31, 11 and 17 are prime numbers, so we are stuck with them. However we can divide top and bottom by 6, common factor.

    31 * 9
    -------
    11 * 17

    = 279/187

  2. Multiply the numerators and denominators across.

    Then simplify your fraction to the lowest term.

    31/6 x 9/11 x 6/17 =

    31 x 9 x 6 = 1674 (our numerator product)

    6 x 11 x 17 = 1122 (our denominator product)

    We now have:

    1674/1122 as the new fraction.

    When reduced to the lowest term we get:

    279/187
