I'm not sure. I think it'd be possible if someone were in the room to help with vocabulary -- I've done this type of thing before in English classes when I've had students who have had only 2 years studying English -- I showed a video (maybe a segment related to something we had read in class, such as Huckleberry Finn) and then I'd stop it at times to make sure everyone understood what had been said or shown.
