Well you guys, theres something you don't know about us connections academy students. 1.) we do all the work online and sometimes it lasts for hours
2.) They don't send us resources, we don't have books where we can just go sit on the grass or couch and study with, they have the books online and you push the next arrow and it takes like three hours just to get to page 100!! Tell us that's not stressful! plus we have like up to 13 or 12 courses and theres quizzes everyday, theres assignments like 2 times a week and then huge tests once or twice a week. Finals are all on the same day! You can at least help out! We have studied but sometimes we have an overload! For tips for all you connections students like me, go on Amazon and type the name of the course book or books and you can find them there cheap I just bought my biology one so Ill be getting that soon.
Plus, I didn't even get a Christmas break :( you guys have no idea what its like to do Connections.
Yeah Connections Academy really over works us...4 semester tests in a day and they give you 3 days to do them...Like srsly
I didn't get a Christmas break either :( Connections really does overwork us, and they teach us some stuff that's not even useful. When I transferred, they made me start ALL the courses from the beginning, when I had already gone through the stuff last year. >:( I started 80 lessons behind and then had 3 different kidney infections, AND surgery and they won't give me a freaking extension.

I am really tired of seeing these "teachers" commenting on questions like these saying that it's cheating or that people aren't going to do their work for them because the teachers at Connections have never once helped me. They always take days and sometimes even a WEEK to respond to questions I have and sometimes they don't even respond to the messages. The teachers are basically paid to not do anything and it's ridiculous. Us students don't always understand things and our parents won't always know the answers either so we go to the teachers for help yet none of you actually help us so instead of lurking online for "cheaters" why don't you go answer some webmails from your students.
Yes this is my first year ive never been so stressed in my life. im starting to get worry line ive never had any ughh..this is so stressing i cant take it.. i cant have Christmas break cuz im behind on so many lessons hopefully i leave connections next year >:|

I love how all of us connections students just ganged up on connexus. I agree completely with everyone else, connexus is so stressful but it is challenging. What I really love is seeing this though, none of us know eachother yet we are agreeing completely!

Yeah i also do connections. 10th grade. In September of 2012 i went to the beach for a week. it is now almost christmas and i still am trying to get caught up. weve been on break foralmost a week. this is so stressful. People think its easy because were home. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
his test in particular is outrageous. I too am in Connections and have attended every live lesson none of which prepared me for this exam. It is very, very objective with the questions being non specific of which I can argue more thanone possible answe and depending on my perspective. the answer I chose IS the best answer. But we all know it has to be based on the teachers interprtation which in some situations I beleive to be incorrect. So I too havenever had a real break from Connections. I do think having real books to study from would make a world of difference since it is a public school and books should be provided along with the e-books.

I'm In Connections to and I will agree its very stressful.
Connections does not give you enough resources and their lessons you pull up and a joke. they aren't even that good and informative. Everything is click here go there ad half the time it doesn't work. I hate not having an actual book in front of me. Not digging Connections at all.
The hilarious irony that all CA advertises is how it makes learning "easier" for students, and all I've ever read from other students is how ridiculous and hard to grasp the system is. lol
im failing most of my classes cause I started connexus so far into the school year and im actually way ahead poeple who started days before me and Im trying to get into public school again but I cant If im failing IM HATING CA

i literally had to go through the EAP which is when you’re extremely behind and failing. somehow i managed to do 200+ lessons in a month. but i would do school all day and night until 5-7 am and barely got sleep. my mom told me i looked like a college student so i guess i do get the point that they’re preparing us for life. i definitely don’t expect college to be super fun and easy so that must be true. but it for sure is very hard and having quizzes and test AND portfolio nearly everyday are absolutely no fun. fortunately, i’m out of the EAP program since i got back on track and no longer am failing classes. I now have 2 semester exams remaining and tbh am extremely proud of myself. i almost was expelled so to finish is a miracle. almost every single year, i have a time where i’m very behind. it’s tiring and stressful but nothing in life is easy. an improvement i’d suggest is to slow down with so many assignments at a time. maybe placing big assignment every other week rather than more than one in a single week. and also i hate how you can’t set your scheduler anymore. that used to be so helpful because i would accommodate it to the way i knew i worked best. but now they set it up the way i want, which is hard for me. ALSO those posts are like from 2013-15 so y’all must have graduated now lol congrats! [ hopefully y’all did graduate :O ] they’ll probably never see this haha
