How do you calculate the mass, in amu of 2287 atoms of Li

sorry its 287 atoms

Hey, if all hope is lost try this...let me know if it makes sense....

use stoicheometry.

(287 amu of Li/ 1 )*( 1 mol/ 6.02 x 10^23) * ( 6.94g Li/ 1 mol)

this makes more clearer as fractions on paper....hope this helps. i did this and got 3.31 x 10^-21. (numbers may vary slightly with decimals cuz of periodic tables and diff. masses.)

To calculate the mass of 2287 atoms of Li in atomic mass units (amu), you will first need to know the atomic mass of lithium (Li).

Lithium has an atomic mass of approximately 6.94 amu. This means that one atom of lithium weighs 6.94 atomic mass units on average.

To find the mass of 2287 atoms of Li, you can multiply the atomic mass by the number of atoms:

Mass = Atomic mass × Number of atoms

Mass = 6.94 amu/atom × 2287 atoms

By performing this calculation, you can find the mass of 2287 atoms of Li in amu.
