  1. A diamond is actually a piece of coal that formed eons ago and then was compressed by weight to form one of the hardest forms of matter.

    I'd connect diamonds to math because of the number of carats in each diamond and the amount of money made in selling diamonds.

    How are diamonds connected to you?

    Diamonds are important because they're used in industry as a hard cutting tool. Of course they're used in jewelry, too.
