So no one's helping me with my paper, I already posted twice. But I figured out everything myself and fixed it to the best of my capability.

Can I atleast get some help with the conclusion??

Should the Richer Countries of the World help Poorer Countries (Pro)

It is a known fact that all though there are some countries in the world that are abundant in wealth and possessions, there are also other countries at different parts of the world which are developing countries and are deprived of most of the goods that the developed countries enjoy so gladly. It is true that countries like Guatemala, Liberia, and Pakistan are a few examples of the many countries with a large amount of the population living under the poverty line. While other countries like the United States, China, and Russia have most of their people living a well-off, middle class life which is above average for most people in the world today. The question that arises in everyone’s mind is that whether it should be required for the richer countries of the world to help the poorer countries. In my opinion, the richer countries of the world should definitely help the poorer countries because they have the resources, it would create more peace between the countries, and because there is a moral value of helping the needy in all of the major religions of the world today.
Firstly, I think richer countries should take care of poorer countries because they have the resources and the ability to do so. A country like the United States is rich in it’s resources and should use it to help developing countries because it is almost a sort of indirect duty or a moral obligation. Since God has provided these countries with the wealth to do such things there is no proper reasoning as to why they should not. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the infant mortality rate in the Untied States is 6.75 deaths per 1,000 live births (Deaths and Mortality). However, in Pakistan, there are 63.95 deaths per 1,000 live births. What these statistics mean are that there are more people dying in the poorer countries due to whatever reason there may be, as compared to the people in richer countries (Pakistan Infant Mortality Rate). Likewise, the per capita income of the Untied States in the year 2009 was 39,138 dollars (Infoplease). In the same year, the per capita income of Pakistan was 1,050 dollars (Per Capita Income of Pakistan). While countries like the United States are making big money per year, there are other countries that have people which are just barely surviving. So if richer countries can afford to help other countries, they should do so.
Secondly, I believe richer countries should help poorer countries, whether physically or financially, because it will create more peace between the countries and such aid lessens tensions between the countries involved. Similarly the peace that will come between the very different countries once they help each other will prevent conflicts from occurring within those countries. Also there is the thought that if we help developing nations develop their own economies then they will eventually become customers of our products, which will result in our benefit. A perfect example of this solution is the Marshall Plan which was made after World War II. This plan strengthened Europe and helped prevent war or any further conflicts there. Another great example of this sort of help done in our history was the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It was a plan to avoid deadly wars like the World War II and assist poor countries raise their standard of living.
Thirdly, we all know that there is a moral imperative to help those that are less fortunate. Helping the poor and needy is a strong component of the leading religions in the world; Islam, Christianity, and Judaism. Clearing out all arguments regarding this issue is the Golden Rule that is universal in all cultures and religions. It is more or less said in the Christian texts, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. In the religion of Islam it is said, “No one of you is a believer until he desires for his brother that which he desires for himself”. Similarly, the texts of Judaism believe, “What is hateful to you, do not to your fellow man”. It is clearly shown in all the major religions of the world that we should treat others the way we would like to be treated. Therefore, helping the poor is a tenet of all major religions, why not apply this in our current situation?

Most of China lives above the poverty line? China's considered "rich" in the media largely because they ignore their poverty problem. They don't spend the money or resources on it.

An easy way to make a conclusion is just to restate your thesis statement and 3 points. Not always the most creative thing, but gets the job done.

How about, with this, concluding with a call to action? Telling government officials to get off their boot-tays and get working on this problem.

Two more side notes, you mentioned the World Religions, but only mentioned Western religious texts. Might be good to find a few Buddhist or Hindu quotes. Finally, in a position paper, don't say, "I believe" or something similar. It makes it sound weaker.

Hope this helped!

Thankyou, you helped more than others.

It's great that you were able to figure out most of your paper on your own! I'm here to help you with the conclusion.

When writing a conclusion, it's important to summarize your main points and restate your thesis. In your case, your thesis is that richer countries should help poorer countries. Here's a suggested structure for your conclusion:

1. Summarize the main points: Briefly recap the reasons why richer countries should help poorer countries. In your case, you mentioned that richer countries have the resources, it would create more peace between countries, and it aligns with the moral values of major religions.

2. Restate your thesis: Clearly restate your thesis statement, emphasizing your position that richer countries should help poorer countries.

3. Final thoughts: End your conclusion with a strong closing statement. It could be a call to action, a thought-provoking question, or a conclusive statement that reinforces your argument.

Here's an example of how your conclusion could be structured:

In conclusion, it is essential for richer countries to aid poorer countries for several reasons. Firstly, richer countries have the resources and the ability to make a significant difference in the lives of those in need. Secondly, providing help to developing nations can foster peace and prevent conflicts between countries. Lastly, the moral imperative to help the less fortunate is present in major religions worldwide. Therefore, it is our responsibility to extend a helping hand to those in need.

Remember, this is just a suggestion, and you can modify it to fit your writing style and the overall flow of your paper. Good luck with your conclusion!
