  1. The y intercept is easy, where x = 0, y = 9 so (0.9)
    For the x intercept solve the quadratic
    16 x^2 + 24 x + 9 = 0
    (4x+3)(4x+3) = 0
    x = -3/4 (double root)
    (-.75,0)
