Brief history of SAAT in FUTO

The School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology (SAAT) in the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) was established in 1982. The school was created to offer undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various fields of agriculture and agricultural technology.

Over the years, SAAT has grown to become a leading institution in the field of agriculture education in Nigeria, offering programs in areas such as crop science, soil science, animal science, agricultural economics, agricultural extension, and agricultural engineering.
