Completing my job search portfolio helped me realize the current demand for job openings in my chosen career field. I discovered that there are a decent number of job opportunities available in my desired career, but there is also a level of competition for these positions. This information motivated me to further hone my skills and stand out as a strong candidate.
To prepare for a career in my chosen field, I identified several skills and abilities that I need to work on or improve. These include technical skills such as proficiency in relevant software programs, project management skills, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability to different work environments. Additionally, I learned the importance of networking and building connections within the industry to increase my chances of securing a job.
