Citizen scientists can use the public data at data.gov for many kinds of research. Visit the data.gov website by clicking on the link below.

Select the "Data" menu option at the top to reach a search page for the data catalog.

In the search panel, enter a keyword of interest from this list: "climate", "energy", "health", "ocean", and "agriculture". Perform the search and observe the results. Click on three of the data sets that look interesting to you and read the summary. In your own words, briefly describe the data found in each set.
