product
Exponent Rule: Multiplying like bases

To multiply like bases, keep the base the same and add the exponents.

For example:
2^3 * 2^2 = 2^(3+2) = 2^5
5x^4 * 5x^2 = 5^(1+2) * x^(4+2) = 5^3 * x^6

what about the other two

To further multiply or raise a power to another power, you would apply the same process.

For example:
(2^3) ^2 = 2^(3*2) = 2^6
(5x^4)^3 = 5^(3*1) * x^(3*4) = 5^3 * x^12
