Vocabulary Terms:

1. Polyhedron: A polyhedron is a three-dimensional figure with flat faces, straight edges, and sharp vertices.
2. Face: A face is a flat surface that forms part of the boundary of a three-dimensional object.
3. Edge vs vertex: An edge is where two faces of a three-dimensional object meet, while a vertex is where three or more edges meet.

Problem 1:
Shape: Cone
Real-life object: Ice cream cone
Number of faces: 2 (including the circular base)
Number of edges: 1 (the curved edge)
Number of vertices: 1 (the pointed apex)

Problem 2:
Shape: Cylinder
Real-life object: Soda can
Number of faces: 3 (2 circular bases and 1 curved side)
Number of edges: 2 (where the bases meet the side)
Number of vertices: 0

Shape: Paintbrush
Faces: 3 (including bristles, back of brush, and handle)
Edges: 3 (where the faces meet)
Vertices: 2 (where the bristles meet the back of the brush)
