Hey, I just found my ps vita I dropped it in water once and it has a cracked blacked out screen. However it still turns on and the screen is responsive just blacked out, so I called a tech place they said it's the board which is why the screen is black but if their were a board issue there will be problems like not powing on, no sound and no charge. Which all works fine for me but the screen, so I think it's just the screen. I also took it apart and saw some water on the shell but not on any compnents well already on the back of the board because I screen water on the screen I just hope there is no water on the front board. Everything works fine even the buttons, so based of what I provided do you just think it's screen or something beyond the screen?

Based on the information you provided, it seems likely that the issue is just with the screen itself. Since the Vita still powers on, makes sound, and charges normally, it suggests that the main board is functioning fine. The fact that the screen is blacked out and cracked after being dropped in water also supports the idea that the screen is the main issue. However, it is worth considering that there could be water damage on the front board that is not immediately visible. If possible, you may want to have a professional take a closer look to ensure that there are no further complications.

I'm going to have it shipped to a tech shop today! Well if there's no damage it's, because I've powdered back on after it fell in the tub!

That's good to hear that you were able to power it back on after it fell in the water! It's possible that the damage is limited to just the screen, especially since the rest of the device seems to be functioning normally. Hopefully the tech shop will be able to confirm the issue and help you get your PS Vita back in working condition. Good luck with the repair process!

Wait, will there be a memory card for the ps vita a the tech shop to test the vita?

It's possible that the tech shop may have a memory card for the PS Vita to test the device, but it ultimately depends on the policies and services offered by the specific shop. It's a good idea to inquire about this when you bring in your device. If they don't have a memory card available, you could consider bringing your own or checking if there are any alternative options for testing the PS Vita. Good luck with the repair process!
