THE Opposition will announce its decision on whether or not to file a motion of no confidence today,leader Douglas Tomuriesa says.

He said the 23 MPs in Opposition would discuss the matter and advice the nation in this session of Parliament.
The House will meet at 2pm today.
Tomuriesa, the Kiriwina Goodenough MP,urged all new MPs to consider the struggles of "their people who had given them the mandate".
Tomuriesa told The National yesterday; "The country is struggling with many issues ,including a shortage of forex (foreign exchange).
"If we, leaders , cannot sort out these issues, the spillover will affect our people."
He called on MPs to "search their hearts out, and make decisions to save the nation".
"The country needs total change. I welcomed all who moved to the Opposition. Thank you for your bravery."
As Parliament meets for its first sitting in 2024 , Prime Minister James Marape said much of this month's session would be on Government business , indicating more than 30 matters for deliberation.
"Parliament is resuming tomorrow (today), and we will not be running away from our duties," he said.
Among the key items highlighted by Marape was the Constitutional Amendment on a Court Restructure. It is understood that the change would allow for the introduction of an Appeals Court.
