From the perspective of social exchange theory, my experience with the first WhatsApp group likely influenced my interest in signing up for another group due to the perceived benefits that I received from the initial group. If I found that the first group provided me with valuable information, social connections, and a sense of belonging, I may be motivated to seek out similar benefits in a new group. Additionally, if I felt that I contributed positively to the first group and received appreciation and support in return, I may be more inclined to seek out similar social exchanges in a different group. Overall, the positive experiences and rewards gained from the first group would likely motivate me to actively seek out and participate in another WhatsApp group.
