Identify a time in your life when you experienced having to interact with someone who was different from you. (For example, different ethnicity, age, religion, or physical ability) Explain your experience. Is there anything you would have done differently? RESPOND IN A TIME IN MIDDLE SCHOOL

One time in middle school, I had to work on a group project with a classmate who was from a different country and had a different cultural background than me. At first, I was a bit nervous because I didn't know much about their culture and I wasn't sure how to communicate effectively with them.

However, as we started working together, I realized that despite our differences, we were able to find common ground and work well together. We both brought unique perspectives to the project that ended up enhancing our final presentation.

Looking back, I think I could have been more proactive in getting to know my classmate's background and learning more about their culture. I believe that understanding and appreciating our differences could have made our collaboration even more successful. In the future, I would make more of an effort to ask questions and show genuine interest in getting to know my teammates better.
