Function kf a pseudopod

A pseudopod is a temporary projection of the cytoplasm used for movement in cells like amoebas. The main function of a pseudopod is to help the cell move by extending and retracting in the direction of its movement. This allows the cell to crawl or glide along a surface in search of food or other resources. Pseudopods are also used by amoebas to engulf and consume food particles by surrounding them with the pseudopod and pulling them into the cell.
