Both the executive branches of the federal government and Georgia's state level government are responsible for enforcing the laws, administering government programs, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of their respective branches of government. They are also responsible for implementing and carrying out policies and initiatives set by the legislative branch. Additionally, both executive branches are headed by a chief executive, such as the President at the federal level and the Governor at the state level, who is responsible for making final decisions and leading the executive branch.
