In three to five sentences, provide two specific examples of things we have learned from space exploration, and explain how these examples influence your opinion.

The US spends a whole bunch of money, like over $20 billion every year, on exploring space with NASA. Some people think it's a waste of money but I think it's totally worth it. One reason is that we've learned a lot about our own planet from space missions. For example, satellites have helped us study climate change and track severe weather. Another cool thing we've learned is about the solar system - like how Mars used to have water and maybe even life! All this new knowledge makes me think space exploration is totally worth the cost.
