One of my favorite free-time activities is hiking in the nearby mountains. I usually engage in this activity on weekends when the weather is nice. I love being out in nature, surrounded by beautiful scenery and fresh air. Hiking allows me to challenge myself physically and mentally, and it gives me a sense of peace and tranquility. I prefer hiking over other activities because it allows me to stay active while also enjoying the great outdoors. My best friend, on the other hand, prefers to spend her free time painting in her backyard, which is a more solitary and creative activity.
