Racial equity is both a state and federal issue. While the federal government has a role in setting national standards and policies related to racial equity, state governments also play a significant role in implementing and enforcing these policies at the state and local levels. Additionally, states have their own initiatives and programs to address racial disparities within their own jurisdictions. Ultimately, racial equity requires collaboration and coordination between federal and state governments to effectively address systemic racism and promote equality for all individuals.
