I want to become a obstetrician gynecologist
and work in a hospital setting, specifically focusing on women's health and prenatal care. To best prepare for this field and my goals within it, I will need to complete a bachelor's degree in a science-related field, followed by medical school to earn a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. After medical school, I will need to complete residency training in obstetrics and gynecology.
Two realistic ways of funding my education based on my personal financial circumstances could include applying for scholarships and grants, as well as working part-time while in school to help offset some of the costs. Additionally, I may need to consider taking out student loans to cover the remaining expenses, but I would aim to only take on as much debt as I can reasonably expect to pay back with my expected income as a practicing physician. Ultimately, I would need to carefully research and plan my financial options to ensure that I do not take on more debt than I can handle.
