Cell D6 includes the rate a bank quoted Nadia for the business loan. In the list of interest rates (range C12:C26), create a Conditional Formatting Highlight Cells Rule to highlight the matching rate in Green Fill with Dark Green Text in excel
To create a Conditional Formatting rule to highlight the matching rate in Green Fill with Dark Green Text, follow these steps:
1. Select the range C12:C26 where the list of interest rates is located.
2. Go to the "Home" tab on the Excel ribbon.
3. Click on "Conditional Formatting" in the Styles group.
4. Choose "New Rule" from the drop-down menu.
5. In the "New Formatting Rule" dialog box, select "Use a formula to determine which cells to format".
6. In the formula box, enter the following formula:
=C12=$D$6
Note: Make sure to adjust the cell reference in the formula based on the starting cell of your selected range (C12) and the cell D6 containing the quoted rate.
7. Click on the "Format" button to choose the formatting style.
