What have you learned about yourself in moments of fear? What were the circumstances? What did you learn?

I have learned that in moments of fear, I am capable of remaining calm and thinking logically. One specific circumstance where I discovered this about myself was when I was hiking in a remote area and got lost. As the sun began to set and I realized I didn't have a clear idea of how to get back to the trail, I felt a surge of fear and panic.

However, I used my rational thinking skills to assess the situation and remember the basics of staying put and waiting for help to arrive. I also kept myself distracted by focusing on building a small shelter and gathering firewood. This experience taught me that even in moments of intense fear, I can rely on my ability to stay level-headed and make sound decisions. It also showed me that I am resourceful and can adapt to challenging situations.
