Questions to ask learners before teaching. Without including the word peer pressure , questions must be linked with prior knowledge . Also include examples from cartoons they watch on TV. Make these question not too personal as it may affect the teacher.
1. Can you name a time when a character in a cartoon you watched made a decision because they wanted to fit in with their friends?
2. Have you ever seen a cartoon where a character did something they didn't want to do because everyone else was doing it?
3. How do you think characters on TV shows handle situations where they feel pressured to do something they know isn't right?
4. In what ways do you think peer influence can impact a character's actions in a cartoon?
5. Can you think of a cartoon episode where a character faced a dilemma about following their friends or doing what they knew was right?
