The book and the movie both have the same characters and main events, like Harry Potter and his friends fighting against Voldemort. But the movie leaves out some details from the book, like how Harry got his Firebolt in "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban." The book lets you use your imagination to picture the scenes, while the movie shows you what the director thinks they look like. I like both because they help me understand the story in different ways.
