My favorite free-time activity is playing soccer. I usually engage in this activity at the park near my house on weekends. I like playing soccer so much because it allows me to challenge myself physically and mentally, while also connecting with my friends in a fun and competitive way. I prefer playing soccer over other activities because it gives me a sense of accomplishment when I score a goal or make a great pass. My best friend's favorite pastime is hiking, which is similar in that it also involves physical activity outdoors, but different in that it focuses more on enjoying nature rather than competition and teamwork.
