At the end of the movie "The Mummy" with Tom Cruise, the character Nick Morton defeats the mummy, Princess Ahmanet, by using a ceremonial dagger and then plunging an ancient magical stone into her chest. This action seals her powers and stops her from being able to resurrect more evil creatures. Nick Morton survives and decides to continue his journey fighting against supernatural threats. The movie ends with Nick joining the organization Prodigium, which specializes in dealing with monsters and evil forces.
