In the movie, the princess Ahmanet is brought back to life through a ritual performed by the character Dr. Henry Jekyll. In the ritual, Jekyll uses a special dagger to stab himself while giving his life force to Ahmanet, allowing her to regain her powers and rise from her sarcophagus.
