The topic in this unit I found most challenging was constructing an explanation of how genetic variation affects probability of survival and reproduction. This required me to really think about the relationship between genetic variation and the fitness of individuals in a population.
In order to remember definitions of key words in this unit, one strategy I used was creating flashcards with the word on one side and the definition on the other. This helped me quiz myself and reinforce my understanding of the key terms.
One topic in this unit I would like to learn more about is the technologies that influence inheritance of traits, because I think it would be interesting to understand how advancements in technology can impact the genetic makeup of populations.
