In the final scene of Act 5 of Romeo and Juliet, Romeo is communicating his grief and despair over the death of Juliet. He is devastated by the loss of his beloved and cannot imagine living without her. He feels that life is meaningless without Juliet by his side and ultimately decides to take his own life in order to be with her in death.
