Your assignment submission should be 125-173 words in length. It should contain proper grammar, be free of spelling errors, and reflect critical thinking.

People experiment with drugs for a variety of reasons. Some people may be curious and want to see what the effects are, while others may be trying to fit in with a certain crowd or escape from their problems. Unfortunately, some young people who start off experimenting with drugs can end up becoming dependent on them. This can happen because the drug gives them a temporary feeling of happiness or relief, which can be addictive. Over time, their bodies can start to rely on the drug to function properly, leading to a physiological dependence. Additionally, continued drug use can change the brain's chemistry, making it difficult for the person to stop using the drug even if they want to. It's important for young people to understand the risks of experimenting with drugs and to seek help if they find themselves struggling with addiction.
