Arrange responses in the correct order to answer the question. Select a response, navigate to the desired position and insert response at that position. Responses can be selected and inserted using the space bar, enter key, left mouse button or touchpad. Responses can be moved using the up and down arrow keys or by dragging with a mouse.

1. The bill is introduced by a member of Congress in the House or Senate.

2. The bill is assigned to a committee for review and possible revisions.
3. The bill is debated and voted on by the full House or Senate.
4. If approved, the bill is then sent to the other chamber (House or Senate) for consideration.
5. If both chambers approve the bill, it is sent to the President for their signature.
6. The President can either sign the bill into law or veto it.
7. If the President vetoes the bill, Congress can override the veto with a two-thirds majority vote in both chambers.
8. Once signed by the President or Congress's veto is overridden, the bill becomes a law.
