President Bush's economic policy was similar to Ronald Reagan's policy in that both presidents implemented tax cuts to stimulate economic growth. Both presidents also focused on reducing government regulation in order to create a more business-friendly environment. Additionally, both presidents prioritized reducing government spending in order to lower the national debt.
