The Bill of Rights are the first 10 amendments in the Constitution. Why do you think these rights weren't originally included in the Constitution?

The Bill of Rights were not originally included in the Constitution because many of the framers believed that the Constitution itself already outlined the limitations of the federal government and protected individual rights. Additionally, there was debate about whether a listing of specific rights was necessary, with some arguing that it could be seen as limiting rights that were not explicitly mentioned. It was eventually included to appease anti-federalists who were concerned about the power of the federal government and wanted explicit protections for individual rights.
