Unfortunately lil bro I don’t gaf," Emma said with a smirk as she shrugged her shoulders casually.

Her little brother, Ethan, looked at her incredulously, hurt evident in his eyes.
"What do you mean you don't give a ?" he asked, his voice cracking slightly.
Emma rolled her eyes. "I mean exactly what I said. I don't care about your silly problems or drama. I have more important things to worry about than whatever petty thing you're going through."
Ethan felt a wave of disappointment wash over him. He had always looked up to Emma, admired her strength and confidence. But now, it seemed like she didn't have time for him or his concerns.
Feeling dejected, Ethan turned and walked away, leaving Emma standing there, unmoved by his departure.
As she watched him go, a pang of guilt hit her. Maybe she had been too harsh, too dismissive of her little brother.
Later that evening, Emma found Ethan sitting alone in his room, staring blankly at the wall. Without saying a word, she sat down next to him and put her arm around his shoulders.
"I'm sorry, Ethan. I do care about you, I just have a hard time expressing it sometimes," she said softly.
Ethan looked at her, tears brimming in his eyes. "I know you do, Emma. I just wish you would show it more often."
Emma hugged him tightly, feeling a sense of remorse for her earlier indifference. From that day on, she made a conscious effort to be more present in her little brother's life, and their bond grew stronger than ever before.
