Actually, at 50 degrees Celsius, NaNO3 (sodium nitrate) is slightly more soluble than NaCl (sodium chloride or table salt). The solubility of NaNO3 is about 123 grams per 100 mL of water at that temperature, while the solubility of NaCl is about 36 grams per 100 mL of water at 50 degrees Celsius.
