Design one activity based on intrapersonal intelligence to support learning in grade 3 for the problem of 2D and 3D shapes

One activity to support learning about 2D and 3D shapes using intrapersonal intelligence in grade 3 is to have students create a personal shape journal.

In this activity, students will be given a variety of magazines, newspapers, and drawing materials to cut out and create their own collection of 2D and 3D shapes. They will be encouraged to find as many different shapes as possible and categorize them based on their properties (e.g. number of sides, faces, vertices, etc.).

Students will then create a personal journal where they can glue in their shapes and write descriptions or facts about each shape. They can also draw their own interpretations or representations of the shapes.

This activity allows students to use their introspective skills to explore and categorize shapes in a way that makes sense to them, enabling them to deepen their understanding of 2D and 3D shapes through personal engagement and reflection.
