Deep Throat was the pseudonym used by the anonymous whistleblower in the Watergate scandal who provided crucial information to journalists Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein of The Washington Post. Deep Throat's identity was ultimately revealed to be Mark Felt, the Associate Director of the FBI at the time.
