Unit 1, Warm-Up and First Quarter - You should have these completed by January 29th (but will not submit to Connexus until the study guide is complete on February 29th) "the crossover"

Is the narrator first-person, second-person, or third-person? How can you tell?
I know that the narrator is first-person because the narrator uses “I” and “me”. I found an example of it and this is my example: _________________________(open your book and find a quote that uses “I” am “me”)

(make it sound like a fifth grader and make it less than 300 words)

The narrator in "The Crossover" is first-person. I know this because the narrator uses words like "I" and "me" when talking. For example, the narrator says, "I dribbled down the court and made a great shot." This tells me that the narrator is telling the story from their own perspective. It's like they're talking directly to us, the readers, and sharing their thoughts and feelings. It makes the story more personal and helps us understand how the narrator really feels about what's happening. I like first-person narration because it feels like I'm right there with the narrator, experiencing everything they are going through.
