Decolonisation definition with reference

Decolonisation refers to the process of dismantling colonial structures and systems of power that have been imposed on indigenous peoples by colonising forces. This can involve various actions, such as giving back land and resources to indigenous communities, recognising and respecting indigenous rights and self-governance, and addressing the lasting impacts of colonialism on indigenous peoples' cultures, languages, and ways of life.
