3. Super Ego: The Super Ego is the moralistic and idealistic part of the personality that internalizes societal values, norms, and moral standards. It acts as the conscience, representing our sense of right and wrong, and strives for perfection. The superego develops throughout childhood as a result of the influence of parents, teachers, and other authority figures.
