What are the three stages of birth?
1. Early labor: This stage begins with the onset of mild contractions and ends when the cervix is dilated to about 3-4 centimeters.
2. Active labor: This stage is characterized by stronger and more frequent contractions, leading to the cervix being dilated to about 7 centimeters.
3. Transition: This is the final stage of labor, during which the cervix fully dilates to 10 centimeters and the baby begins to descend into the birth canal. This stage is the most intense and typically the shortest, leading to the eventual delivery of the baby.
Would this qualify for the three?
Labor, delivery, postpartum depression.
