Which would have greater gravitational attraction?

Earth and the moon
Earth and a bouncy ball
Earth and the sun
Earth and the planet Mercury

Earth and the sun

attractive gravitational force = G m M /d^2

The sun manages to hold the entire earth in orbit. although the distance between is large, the force is huge due to the two masses.
Mercury and the bouncy ball are just tiny and do not bother to calculate.
You might check the earth and the moon though. Although moon mass is small, it is a lot closer to the earth than the sun or Mercury is.

Earth and the moon would have a greater gravitational attraction compared to Earth and the sun, Earth and Mercury, or Earth and a bouncy ball. The proximity of the moon to Earth plays a significant role in the strength of the gravitational force between the two bodies.
