Dr. Jonas Salk lived from 1914 to 1995. He was born in New York, but is most known for his work as a professor at the University of Response area. That was where he began studying Response area, the crippling and contagious disease that affected millions of people around the world. This was the same disease contracted by Response area years before he became President. After much research, Salk realized that the disease was actually Response area diseases, a very important breakthrough. After much more research, Salk’s team developed a Response area for the disease, which was soon used around the world. In just 10 years, the number of children contracting the disease dropped from approximately 57,000, to less than Response area. In the years following the vaccine, Salk was hailed as a hero for the work he pioneered.
