In the poem "Second Quarter," Josh talks about reaching a tipping point when he overcomes his fears and decides to take a shot in the basketball game. This reminds me of a time in my life when I was faced with a difficult decision to try out for the school play. Just like Josh, I was nervous and unsure of myself, but I pushed past my hesitations and ended up discovering a talent I didn't know I had. Both Josh and I took risks that ultimately led to personal growth and self-discovery.
