You will need a total of six images (2 for each social class). Along with the images, you will write brief descriptions of each including the approximate time period, region of the world, and any other facts you find interesting about the images. If you are unable to provide a copy of each image, you may provide links for each image.

Question 2
Now that you have selected your images. Write an explanation of each social class.
What would someone need to know about each class to identify the differences? You
will put the images and descriptions together on a digital or physical poster.

Question 3
Provide a description of how you will organize your poster images and descriptions.

Question 1:

Areas of focus: Housing and clothing.

Images:
1. Image of a luxurious mansion with large grounds and multiple stories. Approximate time period: 1800s. Region: Europe. This image represents the housing of the upper class during the Industrial Revolution.
2. Image of a crowded tenement building with small, cramped apartments. Approximate time period: 1800s. Region: United States. This image represents the housing of the lower class during the Industrial Revolution.
3. Image of a richly decorated ball gown made of expensive fabrics and intricate detailing. Approximate time period: 1800s. Region: Europe. This image represents the clothing of the upper class during the Industrial Revolution.
4. Image of a plain, simple dress made of cheap materials. Approximate time period: 1800s. Region: United States. This image represents the clothing of the lower class during the Industrial Revolution.

Question 2:
Explanation of each social class:
The upper class during the Industrial Revolution were wealthy landowners, factory owners, and nobility who had luxurious homes, extravagant clothing, and access to leisure activities such as balls and parties. They had servants to cater to their needs and lived a life of luxury and privilege.
The lower class during the Industrial Revolution consisted of factory workers, farmers, and laborers who lived in cramped, unsanitary housing, wore plain, cheap clothing, and struggled to make ends meet. They worked long hours in dangerous conditions for low pay and had little to no opportunities for social mobility.

To identify the differences between the social classes during the Industrial Revolution, one would need to understand the economic standing, living conditions, clothing, and leisure activities available to each class. The upper class would have access to luxurious homes and clothing, as well as opportunities for leisure and social events, while the lower class would live in crowded tenement buildings, wear plain, inexpensive clothing, and work long hours in poor conditions.

Question 3:
I will organize my poster images and descriptions by first presenting the images of housing for each social class side by side, followed by the images of clothing for each social class. Each image will be accompanied by a brief description including the time period, region, and interesting facts about the image. The descriptions will highlight the differences between the social classes in terms of housing and clothing during the Industrial Revolution.
