Briefly explain the formation of star

Stars are formed when a large cloud of gas and dust in space, called a nebula, begins to collapse under the force of gravity. As the cloud collapses, it heats up and the pressure in the center increases, eventually reaching a point where nuclear fusion reactions can occur. This causes the cloud to shine brightly and become a star. The leftover material in the nebula can form planets, moons, and other celestial bodies.
